Dr. Matthew Lieto
After attending undergrad at Michigan State University, Dr. Lieto studied dentistry at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH. He grew up in nearby Muskegon. After four years in Cleveland it was only natural to return to West Michigan. Dr. Lieto's primary goal is to ease the fear and trepidation that are historically associated with dental visits by promoting an honest, friendly, patient-focused atmosphere. He brings his knowledge of the latest in dental technology including Invisalign certification and implant dentistry. Dr. Lieto is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. He enjoys travel, cooking, wineries, sports, and giving Dr. Weny a hard time for being a Wolverine fan.

Dr. Bruce Weny                  
Dr. Weny is a graduate of the University of Michigan. After completing his doctorate of Dental Surgery, he served two years in the Navy, one year aboard ship, one year in the Naval Academy at Annapolis, and then 20 years in the naval reserves serving with both the Navy and Marines. Dr. Weny has been practicing exceptional dentistry in the Grand Rapids area since 1975. He is an active member in the West Michigan District Dental Society where he has held several positions. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Weny enjoys volunteering his time at H.I.S., Health Intervention Services.  He is also active in his church serving in both liturgy and education all the while being a member of the choir. Dr. Weny and his wife, Mary Jo, have one son. In his spare time, you can find him with his family boating, gardening or traveling.

Koreen Herblet – Office Manager
Koreen has been in the healthcare field since 1984. She is dedicated to serving and teaching awareness for overall health and body wellness. Her career in dentistry began in 1992. She has achieved multiple positions throughout her years from receptionist, to dental assistant, to office manager. She is now proud to be with Heritage Hill Dental as their Office Manager. She will strive hard to handle all your insurance needs and financial concerns quickly and accurately. Outside her personal life she has 2 wonderful daughters, and 2 Cairn Terriers that keep her active. She enjoys many hobbies and maintains a busy lifestyle to support a healthy life.

Cheryl Bentley – Dental Hygienist
Cheryl is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College.  She is licensed by the State of Michigan in dental hygiene, including certification in the administration of nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Continuing education is important to all of us at Heritage Hill Dental.  We take pride in our commitment to provide our family of patient’s excellent dental care.  Cheryl is involved in her professional organization, Grand Rapids Dental Hygienists’ Society on the local level and the Michigan Dental Hygienist Association of the state level. Dental hygiene is her passion.  Personally, Cheryl is married and has two adult children.  She enjoys travel, cooking, dance, and reading.                         

Traci Beals - Dental Hygienist
Traci is a 1986 graduate of Ferris State University with an associate’s degree in Allied Science. She also holds a certification in administration and monitoring of Nitrous Oxide & Oxygen Sedation from Grand Rapids Community College. Traci has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 23 years, the last 19 with Dr. Weny. Traci is married and a mother to three beautiful daughters. She stays active in her church, children’s activities and her professional dental hygiene association. Traci enjoys connecting with her patients and helping them achieve healthy smiles that can last a lifetime.

Jan Brouwers - Dental Hygienist
Jan believes in the health of the body and mind and the relationship between the oral health and the physical health. She has two associates degrees and is certified in the State of Michigan as a licensed Dental Hygienist. She maintains her credentials by taking numerous accredited classes. She is licensed in administering Nitrous Oxide and local anesthesia. She will take the extra time to listen to your needs and develop a treatment plan that fits your lifestyle.

Lisa Israels – Certified Dental Assistant
Lisa is a Certified Dental Assistant with over 10 years of experience.  She is currently attending Lake Michigan College’s Registered Dental Assisting program. She takes great pride in providing comfort and quality care to our patients. She and her husband, Tony moved to Grand Rapids from the Fennville area a few years ago. While not working or attending classes you will find her golfing with Tony, or playing with her dog Dharma and cat Max. She also has a passion for baking with her niece Aisha who is 9 years old.
                   
Kim DeVriendt - Office Administrator
Kim is a native of Rockford where she graduated from Rockford High School. She earned a degree in English, communications and psychology at Western Michigan University. Since then, she has worked as an office administrator in both general dentistry and oral surgery. Kim moved back to Michigan about two years ago with her husband, Zack. They now enjoy time with their beautiful daughter Grace.

Stacy Meade – Office Administrator
Stacy began her dental career in 2000 at pediatric dental office. After starting a family in 2003, she started chair side with Dr Weny and lately transferred to our administrator. She enjoys taking care of our patients needs and strives to give friendly quality service to our patients. She prides herself in her three energetic boys. Away from the office she enjoys camping with her family and enjoys watching her husband and children in their sporting events. 

Misty Walkons - Dental Assistant
Misty is our newest team member at Heritage Hill Dental and has been working in dentistry as a dental assistant since 2003.  She is passionate about what she does and makes patient comfort her priority.  She prides herself on giving excellent care and quality service.  She loves spending time with her family—Her husband Joe and her have 2 children and one on the way!  She’s a fun loving person—not just with her kids but with her 2 dogs also!
